Define Insomnia. Waking up too early can actually be a sign of insomnia, as well. In other words, you may set the alarm for eight o'clock, but constantly find yourself waking up at six or seven. So, you do not get as much sleep as you want or need.

Poor sleep quality can be another kind of wholly insomnia. Suppose for a moment, that you go to sleep and wake up on when you plan on a daily basis but you never feel rested. That's what I mean by poor sleep quality. You can often end up waking up more tired than when you fell asleep. That's why getting good quality rest is just as important, if not more important, than getting a long break.

If you drink alcohol, stop or cut way down. One glass of wine before bed may help you relax and sleep, but few glasses of liquor or beer or wine can cause sleep problems.

Make sure your sleeping area is conducive to sleep. This means a quiet dark room, with a bed and a comfortable temperature.

If you snore, find ways to prevent it. True people snoring can cause sleep problems, but if you are one of snoring, it can cause you problems as well. Strip sleep on your side, breathing, weight loss and snoring mouthpiece can all help.
